Once connected, your AI can read and work with your scripts directly: find the one you need, rewrite a section, draft a new script from scratch, or tidy up your library — all without leaving the conversation.

Claude connects with a single URL. Any other app that supports the Model Context Protocol connects with a key you generate in your account settings.
When you generate a key you pick what it's allowed to do: scripts:read, scripts:write, folders:read, folders:write. A read-only key can browse your library but never change it.

Open your AI app's connector settings (often called "Connectors," "Integrations," or "MCP Servers") and paste in the configuration.
Ask your AI anything about your scripts — browse, write, edit, or organize. Your key keeps the connection secure and tied to your account.
Claude supports adding a connector by URL directly — no key generation needed.
In Claude, open Settings → Connectors.

Sign in to your Teleprompter.com account to authorize the connection, then ask Claude anything about your scripts.

Check you pasted the full URL, https://app.teleprompter.com/mcp, with no trailing space. Some apps only show custom connectors after you update to the latest version. If your app has no custom connector option at all, use the key method instead.
Usually a blocked pop-up, or a browser signed in to a different Teleprompter.com account. Allow pop-ups for your AI app and complete the sign-in in a browser where you're already signed in to app.teleprompter.com.
Restart the AI app after adding the connector — most only load connectors at startup. Then check the connector is switched on for that specific conversation, since several apps enable them per chat.
Your key was generated without write access. Generate a new one that includes scripts:write and folders:write, then swap it into your AI app's connector settings.
Changes save to your account straight away, but an app already displaying the old version needs to re-fetch it. Pull to refresh, or close and reopen the script.
Large libraries come back in pages of 50. Ask it to keep listing until it reaches the end, or narrow the request to a single folder.
The integration matches on titles it has listed — it doesn't search inside the text of your scripts. Ask it to list your scripts first, then name the one you want from that list.
