Countdown before recording is available for iOS, macOS, Android and web browser versions
The countdown feature is a handy tool that gives you a few extra seconds to prepare before the recording begins — whether it's adjusting your posture, focusing your gaze, or getting into character.
On iOS/macOS and Android:
- Open the Teleprompter.com app
- Go to Settings
- Tap on Precision Settings
- Select Countdown Before Starting
- Choose your preferred countdown duration
This way, you can customize how much time you want before the recording kicks off — giving you a smooth and confident start every time.
On the Web Browser Version:
A 3-second countdown will automatically begin as soon as you click to start recording.
At the moment, it is not possible to disable or customize this countdown on the web version.
